Additional Background

Mr. Pronenko's most recent position prior to his commercial real estate career was VP Sales & Marketing at Minds@Work maker of the Digital Wallet, awarded at the 2000 Consumer Electronics Show for product innovation. A portable storage device for Digital Cameras. Mr. Pronenko opened distribution channels in the U.S., Europe and Asia. In the U.S., Mr. Pronenko developed retail sell-through relations with Best Buy, Circuit City, Micro Center and New York's famed J&R Music World to name a few. 


Prior to Minds@Work, Mr. Pronenko was recruited by The Walt Disney Company's Discover Magazine. As Western Director, Mr. Pronenko was responsible for the 13 western states and generated advertising sales revenue through advertiser clients such as Lockheed Martin, McDonnell Douglas & Northrop Grumman, Amgen, Genentech and Oral-B Labs to name a few clients.


Prior to Discover Magazine, Mr. Pronenko was President of Corporate Extensions, his own consulting firm. Mr. Pronenko consulted on an outsource basis to various companies in the publishing, software, internet industries.


Prior to Corporate Extensions, Mr. Pronenko was recruited, at the time by CBS Publishing's Road & Track Magazine. Hachette Filipacchi acquired Road & Track along with all the other publications in the CBS stable. As Western Director, Mr. Pronenko earned the position of top producer during his tenure setting a record for revenue growth and winning the nationally coveted position of "Top Producer" and hosting the annual Monaco Grand Prix Extravaganza in Monaco. Mr. Pronenko's client list consisted of companies such as Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Lexus, Honda and Kawasaki to name a few. 


Prior to recruitment by Road & Track Magazine, Mr. Pronenko represented IDG Communications, the world's largest and leading publisher of computer oriented magazines, books and periodicals. Mr. Pronenko held numerous posts within IDG starting with Micro Market World then being internally recruited to help launch Network World. After a short departure (to Road & Track), Mr. Pronenko was recruited back to IDG, returning to one of the company's flagship publication, InfoWorld. During his tenure, Mr. Pronenko was responsible for servicing; maintaining and propelling and forging new stronger business relationships with companies such as Microsoft, 3Com, Hewlett Packard, Dell, Gateway and Apple to name a few..
